Although a short story, this has all the elements that make an Agatha Raisin adventure fun. Lady Emily Hardcastle is an eccentric widow with a secret past? But their lives are anything but quiet as the two team up to solve Cherringham's criminal mysteries. Oh, dear.

But an accidental death - which may have been no accident - reveals that the heart of England is far from the tranquil backwater he imagined. This is a very short story about 36 pages and not really a mystery. Length: 1 hr and 8 mins. If you could sum up Agatha Raisin and the Christmas Crumble in three words, what would they be.

I bought this book because it was the deal of the day. Want to Read saving…. It's the first of several Christmas-themed stories by well-known writers that I intend reading this December.
