Book Review – The Empty Grave – A Dance With BooksLucy: He was so brave over there. That moment where you walk into a book expecting your faves to die but you come out with good vibes, squad goals, a lesbian, happiness, redemption arcs, healing, two ships going canon, catharsis, relief, karma, an AU theory, and word of a potential TV show. Lucy does imply in the Screaming Staircase that ghostly encounters existed well before the Problem so perhaps agencies will never stop being used. Will that need to be investigated? This ghost just freaked me out and I really wanted closure as to what it truly was. Idk, maybe I read too much into that scene. So… are we gonna talk about how the Skull, the ghost of a mere youth, was more powerful than the chosen Type 3 of Marissa Fittes, founder of the Fittes Agency.

I am hard pressed to pick a favorite character at this point. Lockwood and Co: We're gonna die. I truly can't recommend it enough. I can, however?
This book was my favorite of the five, Lucy placed the burnt skull on her window. I really would have loved to read a sixth or seventh lockwoid and if you ask me Stroud definitely should have written more books. In the final scene of the book, and I honestly couldn't have wished for it to be any better. Will their trip to the Other Side leave Lucy and Lockwood forever changed.

Things I still ponder. But how he was so damn smug with Lucy afterward and was like 'yeah I totally didn't spolers to do that I just wanted to exert my energy it wasn't to help you' or 'hehe I could kill Lockwood' and Lucy just doesn't give a damn because she knows he won't. Especially during this book, you could see how their friendship builds and they became closer than ever. Reading this book is a helluva ride.
