I didn't know someone was male until they straight up said it Because I couldn't figure out the characters I found the story difficult to get into, but I mean I understand the premise and that what is happening is horrible but I couldn't connect because I was confused. Teresa Mendoza was once attached to a talented drug smuggler in Mexico. It was very interesting to read about the different ways drugs are smuggled into Europe and the different measures that are used to combat them.
I have read every Perez-Reverte novel. All except one -- The Queen of the South. I balked because it was about drug running-- a subject I have never been interested in.

This listing is for the Spanish version. I am quite sure Rwina already saw it but couldn't find any good, but I will get back to it soon It is interesting to see how the author piece together the transactions and the flow of drugs and money. I would not recommend the audible version.
